This is a professional and scientific institution in Serbia that deals exclusively with activities in the viticulture and wine sector. After several transformations, since 2006 the Center for Viticulture and Oenology has been functioning as a national innovation center with research and professional activities in the viticulture and wine sector.

In accordance with the desire to promote viticulture and wine production, as well as to promote the importance of wine as a unique foodstuff, and to promote wine-growing areas and geographical indications and others, the Center for Viticulture and Oenology is inviting students, postgraduates and young colleagues who are eager to improve themselves to participate with us in solving the challenges of modern viticulture and winemaking. Through cooperation in professional and research activities, the Center provides support in training and field activities, in the research of terroir wine-growing areas, the valorization of local varieties of vine and wine, in the study of traditional as well as modern technology of grape and wine production. Cooperation with the Center in innovation work can be of great importance to young professionals for their personal improvement, for defining and conducting professional, scientific, graduate and postgraduate studies, etc., but all the results of our work are primarily in the function of the producers, as well as the general development of the economy and rural wine-growing areas.
